Mama, mama, come quick!

A month or two ago, GBK was watching a movie up in my room while I was getting some work done.

All of a sudden she yelled for me-

GBK: Mama! Mama! Come quick!
Me: What's wrong sweet baby? What happened?
GBK: John Smith! John Smith! The cabbages got John Smith Mama!
Me: Huh?
GBK: The cabbages got John Smith! Oh no!
Me: The cabbages? What are you watching?
GBK: Pocahontas- with the cabbages.
ME: Do you mean the savages? The savages got John Smith?
GBK: Yes Mama! They got him!

cas in concert

I told Mom about Cas in concert and after watching a few of his songs on You Tube she was hooked. So she called, got tickets and high-tailed it over to see him in person.

I am so jealous!! She said he sounded even better live-- and bought us a few souvenirs...

She asked him if he was gonna make it to MS and he said yes, he planned to get here eventually. So keep your ears open and let me know if you hear anything in the future.

Wed she fell down the steps- skinned her leg
Thursday she tripped on the sidewalk- scratched her knee up pretty good!
Today is Friday. Can we please be finished with this accident streak!?

Yes, I survived the doodlebug sale. Yes, I am exhausted.

I also found out that Cas Haley will be in Branson this week. Ugh. How I wish that I could pack up and drive up there. Dang obligations. They get in the way everytime.

One day, Cas. One day I will see you perform live.

Madi has school pictures next week. Pray that her front tooth stays in her mouth long enough for school pictures.
