As some of you know, we just got home from a lengthy stay at the Children's Hospital in Jackson.
GBK was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease. For more details click here.

We are home and resting. She is only able to stay awake about 9 hours out of the day right now... and it could take weeks to months before she is as active as she was before.
Please pray that all future tests show that no damage was done to Madison's heart- we will continue to have to have echocardiograms/ EKGs as well as aspirin treatments.
The emotional stuff has not quite hit me. I am sure that I will break down anytime now- when it hits me that if I had not listened to my gut feelings I could have lost my miracle child.

The mama bear instinct is always right on - you did everything JUST RIGHT. I know everything was so scary and thank God it's over. I'm ready for that baby to come over and help me bake pink cupcakes to celebrate!
